The Dept. has a seminar library  with some books and journals of recent publication that cater to the needs of students and teachers alike. Regular weekly seminars are held in the Dept. for interaction of the students and teachers. Student deliver seminar talks on various national, international, regional topics of political scenario with guidance of estimate teachers of the Dept. . Discussions are made on topics like globalization prospects and problems , political socialization role of public administration, odisha politics, corruption in different sector, women politics etc.
